Frequently Asked Questions
Is WILD a good place to try Cambodian food in Siem Reap?
Yes, if you like your Khmer food with a twist. WILD Siem Reap reinvents iconic Cambodian dishes and ingredients, such as amok, holy basil and banana blossom, as fresh and deep-fried spring rolls. It's not a traditional Khmer restaurant: no classic rice or curry plates, just familiar local flavours in a very different format, plus a few twists from abroad.
Does WILD have a Cambodian tasting menu?
Yes. WILD's signature 5-Roll Cambodian Tasting Set turns five traditional Khmer dishes into spring rolls: mango with salt and chili, banana blossom salad, amok, Chha Trob (eggplant with meat) and stir-fried holy basil. It's priced per person and can be paired with a mocktail or a cocktail, making it an easy way to taste several Cambodian classics in one meal.
Can you have a full lunch or dinner at WILD?
Absolutely. WILD Siem Reap is a full restaurant, not just a starter stop. Each plate holds three spring rolls, and two plates (six rolls) per person make a proper lunch or dinner. Most guests are surprised how filling they are! The kitchen is open daily from 11am to 10pm.
Is WILD good for vegetarians and vegans?
Yes. Around 60% of WILD Siem Reap's menu is vegetarian, several dishes are fully vegan and many more can be made vegan on request, from fresh rolls to salad bowls and dessert rolls. Every dish is clearly labelled on the menu, which makes WILD an easy choice for groups with different diets.
Does WILD Siem Reap have gluten-free options?
There are options, with care. Our fresh rolls are made with rice paper, but some dressings contain soy sauce, our deep-fried rolls may contain traces of wheat and our kitchen handles wheat, so we can't guarantee any dish is fully gluten-free. Please tell our team when you order and check our allergen sheet.
Is there a garden restaurant near Pub Street in Siem Reap?
Yes. WILD Siem Reap sits in a tropical garden in Wat Damnak, about a five-minute walk from Pub Street via the pedestrian bridges. It's a calm spot for lunch, dinner or cocktails, close to the centre but away from the busiest streets. Open daily from 11am to 10:30pm.
Does WILD serve craft cocktails?
Yes, and we take them seriously. Every cocktail at WILD Siem Reap is a house creation built around local fruits, herbs and Cambodian spirits, from long refreshing drinks to spirit-forward classics. WILD was named Best Cocktail Bar in Cambodia by Sovrin Magazine in 2018 and 2022. Not drinking? Our mocktails are made with the same care, from fresh juices.
Is WILD Siem Reap family-friendly?
Yes. Families with children are welcome in WILD's relaxed tropical garden. Spring rolls are easy to share, so everyone can try a bit of everything, and there are sweet dessert rolls with chocolate, banana or pineapple. Home-made sodas and mocktails mean younger guests get something fun to drink too.
Do I need to book a table at WILD Siem Reap?
Walk-ins are welcome, but WILD Siem Reap usually gets busy from 5pm, so booking is recommended for dinner and for groups. You can book a table online in a few clicks.
How much does a meal cost at WILD Siem Reap?
A proper meal of two plates of savoury spring rolls costs around $8 per person, the 5-Roll Cambodian Tasting Set is $6.95, and cocktails start at $4.75. Our prices cover quality ingredients, everything made from scratch, and what we believe should be normal for our team: fair pay, health insurance, maternity leave at 120% of salary, a retirement pension and more. Prices are net, with no taxes or service charge added to your bill. You can pay by card, ABA or cash.
